EXHIBITION OF RARE GOYA DRAWINGS OPENS AT THE COURTAULD GALLERY

In the last decade of his life, Francisco Goya created a private series of drawings that was never intended to be seen beyond a small circle of friends. The album (as it is known) gave free rein to Goya’s creativity, resulting in a humorous and macabre range of images depicting witches and old women.

For the first time ever, The Courtauld Gallery has gathered all the surviving drawings together for a major exhibition and once again, we are delighted to have been asked to provide the interpretation. The picture above shows our very own Neil hard at work on the install in preparation for the exhibition opening this week.

Goya – The Witches and Old Women Album is on at the Courtauld Gallery from the 26th Feb until 25th May.
