We first worked with The Children’s Society in 2008 when they approached us to design a leaflet for their garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The show presents a fantastic opportunity to engage with 157,000 visitors over 5 days. The brief was to design a leaflet to describe the meaning of the garden, lists all the plant varieties and suppliers for the horticulturalists and tells them about the charity. So many leaflets are given away at the show that we really pushed the boundaries of their brand guidelines to produce a visually captivating leaflet with an unusual cross-fold to stand out from the crowd. They were so impressed with our work that we designed leaflets for their next two gardens before bowing out of the show in 2010, as well as legacy marketing materials and a booklet for a national reading campaign.
