London is positively spoilt for choice when it comes to galleries, but this summer, the public will have the opportunity to see a selection of one of the most outstanding collections of works on paper in Britain.
The Courtauld Gallery has in its collection approximately 7,000 drawings and watercolours and 20,000 prints stretching from the Renaissance to the present day.
Thirty or so works by the likes of Mantegna, Bruegel, Canaletto, Picasso, Matisse and Freud just went on display at the gallery on the 19th June and will remain until 21st September as part of their Summer Showcase. We’re delighted to once again have been involved in the design interpretation of the display. Tickets for this remarkable exhibition can be purchased through the Courtauld Gallery website.
