It’s that time of year again … if you’re wandering around the City of London, you’ll discover jazz bands playing next to churches, concerts occurring in squares, office workers tinkering around on guitars on the side of the street and a host of concerts and talks happening in venues all across the square mile. From yesterday (22nd June) until 10th July it is the City of London Festival, which since 1962 has been revitalising the cultural life of the City, giving workers, residents and visitors the opportunity to engage with, learn about, watch and listen to world-class artists in beautiful and unique surroundings.
