We always thought that one of our clients, Patel Taylor, were a great firm of architects, but now it’s official! They’ve just been named ‘Masterplanning and Public realm Architect of the Year’ at the Architect of the Year Awards 2013.

Patel Taylor are involved with some of the largest urban regeneration and place making schemes in the UK, as well as residential and mixed-use workplace developments, education and cultural buildings. Despite their busy workload they found time to feature prominently during the 2012 London Olympics, with their collaboration on the Athletes Village.

The recent awards, organised by Building Design Magazine were based upon the best overall body of work, rather than a single building or project so the award is testament to Patel Taylor’s sustained excellence in the world of architecture. We’d like to say a big congratulations to Patel Taylor on their well deserved award and wish them continued success in 2014.

The wrapped structures shown here were created by Adam for Patel Taylor’s Christmas emailer. Nice job Adam!
